Electrical energy is energy that is made available by the flow of an electric charge through a conductor.  Power plants and batteries provide electrical energy.  Humans use electrical energy when they the use computers, Ipods, TVs, and etc...  Humans rely on electrical energy for some of their basic everyday needs.  Some people can't go a day without a computer (like me).  Some people can't go a day without their Ipods.  You can definetly say that people can't go without a tv because they need to know what is going on in the world but is it really necessary to watch CNN 24/7?
